The KA1 Project "SAAM - Supporting Alliance for African Mobility" is the first European mobility pilot project with Africa launched by the EU, managed by the Spanish organisation Centro San Viator and coordinated by the Spanish Mobility Organisation Asociación Mundus.

SAAM (“TOGETHER” in Afrikaans) coordinates 32 VET Centres organisations in 8 EU Member States (Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain, and Belgium) and 17 African countries (Angola, Benin, Cape Verde, Eritrea, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Tunisia, Chad, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Gabon). This unique collaboration brings together an extensive network of VET Centres, non-formal training organisations, NGOs and European umbrella organisations united to support the mobility of VET teachers and students in a wide range of disciplines.

For 40 months, 70 European teachers, 135 African teachers and more than 300 students will travel between the two continents.
